This battery should and it DOES come standard with the T60/61 models so anyone shopping for another would either be looking for a backup or for a replacement because the original no longer holds a charge well.
If you you want is short battery life and you really feel like paying a lot for the privilege, this should be the one to get. My personal experience with this exact battery in a T60 was under 2 hours life on a full charge when brand new and under one hour one year later. Eventually ... Read More

They were trying to wait me out of their 6month guarantee and their website/listings now says replacements - no refunds.

This is a good quality battery and worked great. I had a problem with my computer freezing after start up and couldn't figure out why for a long time until I read that a dead battery could cause this so I removed the battery plugged it in and turned on the computer and it worked fine, then replaced the battery and the same problem existed with the dead battery. That is why I purchased this battery, it is the best price I found online and in stores and solved my problem.
