I've had this printer for around six months now. Bought it to replace my ancient Laserjet 4m (which finally developed enough problems to be put out to pasture) and a couple of older inkjets/all-in-ones (none of which were network friendly). It does an adequate job replacing all these other devices.
The touch-screen is really nice, and HP could really have eliminated almost all of the other buttons on the panel. I definitely recommend going for the 8500 wireless model. The lower ... Read More

I recently purchased this all in one printer and already I am having problems with the quality of the copies.
I purchased this particular machine because it was recommended to me as the machine to get for my daily use, I frustrated that I have had this machine about one month and already I am having problems. The machine was easy enough to set up but now I will have to hassle with HP about why I am getting long black lines through every copy that I make.

Vonage, MagicJack, etc. have programmed their digital-analog line converters to detect if a FAX machine is connected. ... Read More

The paper feed never worked properly without shutting the machine down and starting over. Replaced ink cartridges and was still receiving an error message to replace the cartridge. The last straw was when making copies there was a big black line going down the middle of the paper. Called HP support which I must say STINKS! I was sent another ... Read More
