Rating: - Very Easy to Use
Love this software. The only downside is that you have to burn movies in real time. So it takes on average 2 hours to burn a movie to DVD. Also, be careful what volume you have your computer set at because it records very loudly. But it's a great product. Very easy to use.
Rating: - Roxio "easy" VHS to DVD" is utter, absolute garbage
I'm no computer geek so when I saw this at Best Buy I thought it was what I needed. Wish I would have checked these reviews first! I am very, very suspicious of the positive reviews here because I tried loading this product twice with same results each time...constant error messages, computer locked up, etc. Roxio has NO customer service for this product...their directions to their web site may as well direct you to McDonalds. Rating: - What happened, Roxio?
Roxio used to be a name I trusted whenever I needed to create a CD or DVD. Not so anymore, thanks to this software.
Not user-friendly. Learning curve is way too steep, especially for busy parents. I'm looking for something that is "plug in and play." This is NOT it.
Rating: - Buyer Beware
This is a product that should be taken off the shelves. It does not install, you can use the dongle with other video products, but the price is too high for that (check easy cap). Roxio does not provide any type of useful customer service, they obviously don't read what you tell them, before giving technical assistance. Rating: - Was exactly what I needed
My father-in-law was an avid videographer using just about every type of camera known to man. Because of this, we have had a hard time watching video he took over the years because it isn't easy to find a beta player or a video C player either. This allows us to transfer to our computer then to a dvd. Now we can watch the embarrassing clips of my wife and sister-in-law from when they were younger. Glad I got this.
