This is the point of the waltons where the main cast is GONE ALL GONE. Grandpa is dead, John curtis is dead, Grandma is not getting much appearence due to her lack of speech, the mother is back for only 12/24 episodes and after waiting approx. 3 seasons for the return of John-Boy, he's finally back AS A NEW ACTOR. Wow - season 8 is finally here!Not only do I look forward to this and season 9, I hope that all of "The Waltons" movies are put on DVD as well.I was in high school when this show started - it is my all time favorite show!
