This battery is not holding a charge any better than my 2 1/2 year old battery. It seems it's either defective or not new.

The battery came quickly - it "looked" new, but I would not hold a charge.It was cheap, not worth the effort and cost to send it back.

I bought this battery about a month ago. I put it in my phone and it gives me maybe an extra hour or so of battery time than my old battery. I keep it plugged in all night and still am down to my last battery bar by like 5 in the afternoon. I've been told by at&t it's not my phone, it's my battery, so this wouldn't be my choice ever again.

Well, the battery is a Samsung battery.I was a little disappointed that it was not in fact new.It had scratches on the little metal connectors, suggesting it had been used before, and the outside casing had a tear in the plastic coating the battery.I think if it is a refurbished one, they should say so in the add.I am merely hoping that if anything should happen, Samsung will stand behind it.
