Product Description: The Yotsuba Group enlists an investigator to uncover L's identity, while Misa, who's been hired as their spokesperson, does some investigating of her own. When she discovers the identity of the owner of the Death Note, it's a race between the killer and the task force--who will catch up to the other first? Time is of the essence, especially when the new Kira makes the trade for the Shinigami Eyes!
Contains episode 21-24. Bilingual with English subtitles
Amazon.com: The dark fantasy Death Note takes some unexpectedly twists as the intellectual duel-to-the-death between Light Yagami and the detective known only as 'L' continues. Light hatches a plan to capture the Yotsuba Corporation board member who's been using Misa's notebook to eliminate business rivals. The plan succeeds as the Carmina Burana-esque score builds. L learns about existence of the murderous notebooks and their attendant Shinigami (gods of death); he unlocks the chain that bound them and frees Light. But Light also plans a double-cross: he uses ditsy, adoring Misa and Rem, the Shinigami who likes her, to set a trap for L. If his scheme succeeds, L will die and Light and Misa will create their version of perfect world by eliminating everyone they dislike. Director Tetsuro Araki skillfully builds suspense into each episode, while maintaining it in the overall story arc. It's a great series, but it has dipped on this volume... ... Read More
Rating: - Amazing this dvd light gets his memory back about the death note and alot of questions are answered in this dvd.
Rating: - One of the best series ever. Honestly, this is one of the best tv series ever simply because of the mental part of it.There isn't so much action in the sense of people fighting. It's all about the mental warfare. This series will keep you guessing what is going to happen inbetween each episode and as you're watching the episode itself. This is something that everybody and anybody should watch at least once through.
The Bad Part:It technically ended with the resolution at the end of the first "season".You can ... Read More
Rating: - great part of a great series i have finished this entire series and i must say that i liked it alot. many people who do not like this series feel so because the way the series wraps up, unfortunately the ending of death note was slightly disappointing, but overall this show is great and im still going to buy all the dvds
Rating: - Death Note is spectacular I love how the authors have us rooting for Light the entire series. It's amazing.I only watch this anime and Bleach, and Death Note is now one of my favorite shows of all time.Suspenseful, thoughtful, and things actually happen (main characters are not immune to being killed).I'd suggest watching it from the beginning, but I had a friend start watching it in the middle of the series and she was hooked half way through the first episode she watched.Even if you don't like anime or other Adult Swim ...
