This is the best collection of songs / stories Alice has released since "Brutal Planet"....and the most fully realised "concept" since "From The Inside". There are hints of Alice's back catalogue: The opening riff of "Im Hungry" is reminiscent of "Is It My Body" while "I Know Where You Live" would sit nicely on "Flush The Fashion" or "Special Forces". Don't get me wrong, this is a good Alice Cooper album and the packaging by Piggy D is top notch on the LP.I even got a little weak in the knees when I saw the silk colored wax (man I miss artwork like this).
Lyrically, it is all Alice.If not even more twisted and mean than ever before.Musically, it sounds like a Hampton and Saber album (except for Vengence - easily the best track).It doesn't sound like how Bob Ezrin would have left things, and this is basically what keeps it from being ... Read More
