Her 2008 debut single, 'You Can Let Go,' went top 5 in Canada. Shawanda is a full-blooded Native American from the Ojibwe tribe, her last name,translates to Dawn of a New Day. A USA release date is still pending.

cd is great. "It's ok to let go now" is a real tear jerker.her voice makes the rest of the songs are a pleasure to hear also.

Crystal is an up and coming terrific star.I have seen her in person and couldn't wait to buy her CD.She has a genuine voice and captures you with her songs.This CD is going to be just one of many.

This CD sounds fine, but it's not inspired.The listener isn't left feeling enthused to listen to it again.The songs are a little too bland and safe; the music's not invigorating.Fine to listen to in the background; not something that commands the listener's attention.Shawanda has room for improvement and I think she has the ability to do so.She's got a clear, strong voice and a unique background.She has the potential to inspire interest.I hope she does so.
