The smallest working puppet in the movie is a doll from the 'real world' Jack visits that is only one inch long.
Sally is wearing a real miniature dress laid on top of foam latex so that the fabric doesn't move too much on screen.
At the height of production, the animators produced only 70 seconds of finished film per week.

This is a fabulous movie, so it is gratifying to see an edition that provides a full menu of features to compliment the film. Filled with behind-the-scenes features and extras, plus a digital disc and a fabulous edition of the movie itself.

Another one of my friends got this for me as a gift. Again, I was giddy with delight (they all know me so well)! While I thought it odd that Disney would reproduce something that was fairly dark, it was so great to see this movie again, as I hadn't seen it in years. The remaster was wonderful as the colors were more vibrant. I especially loved all the bonus features like Frankenweenie, Vincent and The storyboard to film comparison.
