Not being a techie, I was happy to learn how easy this camcorder operates.The drawback of the simplicity is the lack of options found on more expensive camcorders.For example, the zoom feature does not have a very wide range.But, for the casual user, it is a fine product.

I bought the Ultra two weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I had read about people having problems with the record button, but did not have any such trouble with mine. The main selling feature for me was the fact that the Ultra could be bought with an underwater housing. I don't think they have this yet for the Mino. (good to 30 feet)

This is a great video camera for the price.It's extremely easy to use - just turn it on and click the red button in the middle.It is also highly portable.

The camera has no sound when you play back videos on it but when you transfer the videos to your computer, the sound is fine.The tech support has not been very helpful to me in resolving the volume issue on the camera.I may end up returning it to the manufacturer.Other than that, the camera is light weight, compact, and easy to use.
