Very Nice! I bought the Sennheiser CX300 buds to go with this, and the sound is much better than "acceptable". Scrolling thru folders takes a little practice. It's been playing for over 12 hours with 1 X AAA 1200 mAh NiMH rechargeable battery and the volume set between 15-20 (32 is max).
Since there is no SD memory slot, I used wma encoding for max storage, and set the mixer to Jazz.

I bought the 1GB player at Walgreen's on sale for $19 and loved it so much that I 'up-graded' to the 4GB player which I ordered from Amazon this summer.I own a 2007 Toyota Yaris with an aux input plug that will absolutely not work with my iPods, but works perfectly with the Coby MP3 players.

This is a great little mp3 player for it's price. It's very tiny....a bit bigger than a larger sized lip stick tube... that makes it great for working out. Which is exactly what I use it for. In the past, I've owned Coby's MPC840 (much smaller capacity)....and the similarly designed mp3 player still works without a flaw years later. I've also owned a 20gb iriver (now upgraded to a 60gb Zune) that I will not part with, but this little Coby is a great secondary option because it is a great size to use ... Read More

Within TWO days of having this it failed me. It's failure (which I assumed it would stop working in a few months based on other reviews) was tragic. I bought this because I was taking a few long flights and was heading overseas and I needed to listen to something. I figured 35 dollars for 4GB was a pretty good deal but it's not. Not in the least. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price. I figured it must have SOMETHING wrong with it, but nope. Just like the other reviews say, this thing is great. Sure, it's no ipod, but that has its advantages too - like the fact that you can simply drag and drop mp3s on to this thing like a regular flash drive (without having to install iTunes or any other software). Love it.
