For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional 'Mountains of Mourne' and 'Come By the Hills' to international hits such as 'Brothers in Arms' and 'Desperado,' as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ('My Boy') and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

I like Celtic music
What a great find, this DVD is so much more then the reviews.I have watched it a number of times and enjoy it more and more each time,
all I can say is WOW the vocals are wonderful what a nice blend of voices and music.

When I first saw these five guys on PBS it was love at first sight!The production is so beautifully crafted and the variety of traditional, folk and contemporary music is wonderful, and yet it all blends together. I watched Celtic Thunder on the PBS channel at least 5 times and when they didn't show it anymore I knew I had to get a DVD of it so I could
watch it all the time and believe me - I do watch it all the time. I just don't seem to tire of it.The only thing I wish I could have had included with the DVD were the words to the songs.I LOVE IT!!!!
