Rating:  - Vary bad sound
Good video, but sound really ugly. Speakers are useless - 1950 telephone was producing better sound. There is no way to adjust sound characteristics (bass/treble), or I was not able find the way of doing this after month of experimenting. Average $20 CD player has at least "bass boost", not sating about more sophisticated tuning (especially Sony products).
Fortunately, I have full drawer of headphones, and I was able to select one that provides good compromise between low and end.

I purchased this dvd player in both red and white and am VERY impressed with it - especially for the price.The screen is great and large enough, very clear and sharp resolution.The cases are a pretty color and the battery life was also great.I watched a movie for 3 hours and only 1 of the 3 battery life bars was gone.I love the swivel feature and the ability to fold it up!Highly recommend!!Also - a LIFE SAVER for a 21 month old on a plane.Hello Little Einsteins and Backyardigans...

I just received this dvd player in the mail about 2 hours ago (which consequently came very fast, and it was free shipping through amazon) and I couldn't be happier; the picture quality is great and the sound is great to. I bought this as a gift for my wife and I know she will love it.
