I checked all the reviews and decided on this phone. My last 2 phones had so much static. You will not have it with this phone. There are only a few things this phone does not have that I was very used to, but others may not care. This is the reason for 4 stars. The answering machine does not have a number count on your calls until you hit the play messages button and then it tells you how manymessages there are. I was replacing an older Panasonic setup (KX-TG2730S) with extension phones. I am pleased with this phone and this seller. The VOLUME isn't as loud as the old phone and I liked the louder volume. Also one of the 6 A/C adapters was bad out of the box, but Panasonic replaced it QUICKLY and easily. That's all the negative I have to say, but plenty of positive! I love this set and would order again. It arrived quickly and safely packaged - brand new. The reason for the four stars is the occasional static. It occurs with different people on the other end (landline and cell phones), so I know it's coming from my end. It doesn't matter how close or far I am from the base. The range is great and the speakerphone is loud and clear. I haven't figured out if I can make an adjustment on the phone to clear up the static yet. Otherwise, I love this phone.

These phones have worked flawlessly. They have every feature I wanted except bluetooth in the handset, which I couldn't find in a DECT phone. They vastly improved the sound with my Gizmo5 VoIP, which I use with an analog telephone adaptor.
The features I most wanted were headset jack, speaker phone, lighted keypad, and caller ID, which these phones have.
