The GadgetTrak software works through a popup box requiring a password approximately 1-2 minutes after a user logs in. I "tested" the software 2-3 times by entering an incorrect password and did NOT get the promised email with localizing information or any video footage of the "thief" (myself).

I purchased this software at MacWorld as I was impressed with the demo, the fact that you can capture video of thieves and unauthorized users.It is easy to install and captures high quality video. Very innovative!
