This is the third MP3 player I have owned.I had a 128MB Nike/Phillips for about 3.5 years before it finally kicked the bucket.I replaced that with a 8GB Creative Zen Microphoto.The ZMP was nice but I really wanted something that would be better for running/lifting/biking.
I was deciding between this and the Creative Zen Stone which was slighly cheaper at the time.I ended up going with the ipod because of the metal casing and the built in clip.I have really enjoyed the purchase ... Read More

I really like the shuffle.I had a Nano.When trying to change the song while running, changing the volume was difficult.It tended to FF or REW easily.Maybe if I wasn't concentrating so hard on just breathing!!!I gave it to my husband.The shuffle clicks vol. UP and DOWN.I like being able to clip it to my shirt or sportsbra and not having a band on my arm.I set my Nano on the treadmill and now it skips.I was told by a friend that when she asked apple about the same problem it messes up ... I bought two IPOD shuffles.One for my husband and one for me.My teenage grandson labored for days to get just the music we wanted on it. he succeeded and it has been a joy to me.I use it at work, where I am the data entry manager, and it is wonderful to help the hours go by.It was a wise purchase.My husband uses his on the riding mower and he loves it too
