I received my Pod Maker yesterday.I made one pod immediately and it worked great.This morning, I thought I'd make a few pods and after I completed the first one, the unit produced a very noticeable and acrid smoke for a few minutes and now doesn't heat at all.Thank goodness I got that one pod made, or I'd feel even more snarkey than I do right now.I'm wondering if I can seal the remaining 160 pods that I have with an iron....

Rating:  - Mine stopped heating too
I was pleased with the pod maker and especially excited to have the flexibility to move on from Senseo coffee. I just reordered a year's worth of pods and my pod maker stopped heating. I am reading that this is happening to a lot of people. Grrrr ....

I love the Perfect Pod maker but I am about to call the manufacturer again. For the third time it stopped heating up. They are very nice and replace it for free, but something's wrong with the (Chinese) manufacturing. I read all of the reviews and cannot believe that there is only one other customer to whom this has happened. I feel "marked."

The Perfect Pod Maker is a brilliant invention. It's easy to use, fast and really does make the perfect pod. I grind up 100% Kona coffee, fill the pod and I'm ready to start brewing on my Senseo. I have to use the double pod holder, but I only click the single for a nice 4oz cup of coffee. It's smooth and delicious. You save so much money by using this and the coffee tastes so much better. One of the pods didn't seal well, but I just turned on the Pod Maker and re-sealed it. All my other pods I made ... Read More

I am one of the morons that likes Medium Roast for its consistency.I use the Dark Roast on weekend.However, with the Perfect Pod I am now able to manage my family's coffee needs.I use Medium Roast for my drive to work, for my wife she (shamefully) likes Folders Hazelnut.However, she would make a eight cup pot of Hazelnut each morning.Now I make the Pods on Sunday for the week (I make 10 to give her a few extra cups) and she makes one cup at a time.
