Season 3 was to date, one of the best-written seasons of this top-notch series which just gets better and better from one year to the next. Eric Kripke and his writers keep raising the bar for themselves and they always clear it with room to spare. It was a little frustrating that the series got truncated due to the writer's strike last year, but all around, it was a solid season. Hunting monsters isn't easy but when you've got a year to live because you've made a deal with the Devil to save your brother, well, it just makes it that much tougher.
