Ok, the first time I tried to use this, I was almost unable to unplug the thing from the car outlet. The part that plugs into the phone is just fine though, and it charges. Luckily, I had another car charger for a previous phone that was Cingular branded that had a very good connection, so I opened them up and swapped the circuit boards with my trusty soldering iron. Thiscar charger for the Nokia 6555 works great. We have used it several times and it charges as expected. There is a red light that shows when the charger is plugged in properly and getting "juice" which is helpful to know when you are driving that the charger is connected properly.

We upgraded recently to a Nokia 6555 and while we were at the phone store considered various accessories,including a car charger.Fortunately for us we decided to look online first.I was amazed and astonished to find a car charger for this exact Nokia model for less than a dollar;even with shipping it was only a few dollars.When it arrived,it looked more robust than I had expected and works just fine;this model Nokia requires charging every day.What more can I say ? I am very pleased with it.

It's exactly what it's supposed to be. Works well, charges well. I'm giving it 4/5 only because the cord is a little on the short side.
