This came with good directions, which I needed to figure how to install it. The grill lights immediately now.

What do you expect... works as designed and easy to replace as well... took about 15 minutes to replace and most of that was cleaning my 7+ year old grill... the hardest part was deciding which part fit my grill... took some research and then a guess... this one fits the Genesis Silver I bought at Home Depot with the cast iron grill grates...

This igniter is a direct replacement for the original one, which was still working but the 'gas catcher' part was rusting away. I replaced it just as a preventative measure. One thing though -- check your local stores and see if they offer this part. Sometimes you can find parts for around the same price locally and you don't have to pay shipping. But if you're already ordering other things from Amazon anyway, pick this part up too for the good price and free shipping.

The replacement of this igniter was easy for my Weber grill. The instructions were easy to follow and my grill lights the first time, every time. The product was shipped on time and I received it when promised.
