This is a really nice pendant, very unusual.I enjoy wearing it, and often have someone comment on it.The only drawback is that it is difficult to open it up and show the compass inside, particularly when I am wearing it.But that may loosen up as I use it.

It is quite weighty, very shiny and does have a working compass as the description states. There is not addt'l room for a picture but I didn't buy the locket for that reason. I got this as a college graduation gift for my sister.It's very pretty.I happened to have a chain from another necklace that looked beautiful with it.I tend to switch the pendants on all my necklaces to this one chain I have that doesn't catch in my long hair, so I didn't need the other chain).I think I will be purchasing several more of these for graduation gifts (high school/college, whatever) in the future.My sister loved it an wears it every day.Maybe I'll even buy one for myself!
