As a women of color, I really wanted to like this line of products.The Hair Elixir was my 4th Carol's Daughter purchase, I've also tried the skin care line.Sad to say, I was disappointed.I used the Elixir as a hair and scale treatment.It left my hair weighed down, even after shampooing.And, I didn't care for the smell.The skin care products made me break out.I will not purchase from this line again.I will continue to use the WEN hair care products, more expensive but I love the results.

It leaves me speechless. I ordered this product after I read about it in Seventeen Magazine. I would wash my hair let it dry then get up extra early the next morning to flat iron it and look decent for my class in the next few hours. With this product, it has greatly helped my damaged hair to repair. Lisa's Hair Elixir works great for me.I have a relaxer in my hair and usually blow dry it straight. I get it done every two weeks, and when it starts to get towards the end of that two week period, and my hair is dull and doesn't wanna hold a style, i just put 6 or 7 drops of the elixir in my hands, rub it around, and run it through my hair.My hair is instantly softer and more manageable.
