I purchased the Fred Clumsy Coasters as a gift for a friend, and she loves them. It took a while to get used to them -- we found ourselves doing double-takes, thinking we'd spilled on her furniture.Both whimsical AND practical, the coasters made a unique, affordable and very popular gift.

I bought these for my daughter as they were on her "housewarming wish list".
When I finally got to see them, I was terribly un-impressed.
As someone mentioned in another review, they are small, and condensation can run right off of them and onto the surfaces you're trying to protect! So if you're looking purely for a "gag" item, great. But if you're looking for a functional coaster, keep walking.
