Let me start by saying "reading is a skill."The sizes of these two knives are great.They seem to respond well do dishwasher cleaning, which is good.My only issue with the knives is that they have serrations on them; so they don't cut 100% smoothly.I didn't read well, so I wasn't expecting the knives to be serrated.They cut well, but I feel on some items (like tomatoes) that you're ripping them a little--rather than cutting.When I think of this type of knife, I expect a smooth--not serrated ... These are sharp knives.I've been using them daily for at least a month and have been so pleased with them that I plan to throw out all my old, dull knives.
Rating:  - Not good for cutting meats
I bought this knife set because I liked the idea that they dont have to be sharpened but the serrated edges make it hard to cut up meats like chicken or shrimp.Its cuts veggies fine but not so much with meats.I'd rather stick to the fine edges.
