I have been using an HP DeskJet 3845 for about 4 years now, and while it was a basic printer, it did the job, but I felt like I could use an upgrade. I followed the setup instructions without difficulty, and had the printer running in less than 10 minutes.Installation on my wife's laptop was even faster.

Rating:  - Not as good as it seems to be
The printer at draft speed (fastest) does not grab the paper correctly and the impression starts to get "shifted". This happens occasionally, and almost 100% of the times if the file you are printing has more than 8 pages.
