I purchased the HP Photosmart C6280 recently and was waiting for time to hook it up to my computer (XP).My son came over to visit and I mentioned that I had got a new printer but hadn't taken the time to install it (I secretly hoped he would volunteer to do it).He had it out of the box and I was printing with it within a half hour. So I concluded that it didn't give any problems during a simple installation.
