I wanted a thin camera for vacations/travel.This fit and the reviews looked good.However the pictures were very disappointing.We went on a cruise and the majority of outdoor pictures (pretty normal travel pics)are exposed badly; too dark, no clarity.Example: many pictures taken from the balcony of our room looking at a nearby island are not even focused, you can't see any detail of the island (too dark); pictures of the boat from standing outside are too dark.Dozens of other bad pictures. ... The size and features are great, but worthless if the camera won't hold a charge.I've made mutliple phone calls and had to pay $95 for a repair that didn't work.The camera was less than a year old, but I didn't have the original receipt so they wouldn't honor the warrenty. I received the camera as a gift last Christmas and, the original purchasor did not keep the receipt.I've been dealing with Casio for months now. I am very unhappy, I bought the camera to take to a district athletic event, but the battery wouldn't charge, so needless to say, I couldn't take it.I had seen such good reviews of this camera, but am very disappointed.

Rating: - Battery with defect
I bought two units and bouth came with a defective battery, that forced to call the service department to replace. i was informed that they were aware of this kind of defect. Why casio sell a unit that know that has a defective battery. Camera is working now after my call to replace the batteries.
