Good pan! I just started using it, and I've made some tasty crepes! My very first crepe stuck to the pan a little bit, but it improved quickly with a little bit of use, and now they release very easily.
The description says "enameled bottom," but it's actual enameled all over, like a Le Creuset pan, but all black. I purchased this pan for my daughter, an authentic "foody" cooking school graduate and several years professional cook in France and Swizerland.
She rejected the previous recommended crepe pan from a prominent site, among other things,for being too small. So not easy to please.
The Staub 12 /2" pan she says, needs only to be called PERFECT. She has hosted two crepe parties to great acclaim.
