The product is very good considering the price and the straightening capacity. The only disadvantage I found was that since the heating plates inside are not even,the heat styling sprays that we use stick onto the outer edges. This would require cleaning in between the process.

I am very disappointed with this flat iron. My old Vidal Sassoon ceramic iron that is five years old works better--but I wanted a smaller one. It never seems to really heat up and it takes a long time to straighten my wavy hair. There are some grooves in it which I don't understand. I wouldn't waste your money even though its cheap.

I just received my Andis 1-inch Nano Tourmaline Wet or Dry Ceramic Flat Iron. I don't typically flatten my hair from the wet stage, but after I blew my hair dry I used the straighter and found it to be very good. I have thrown out many a hair straightener because I haven't liked them, so this is saying a lot. My hair is wavy to curly depending on the day. I have straight hear already, but wanted a flat iron to get that perfect, stick-straight, smooth look.This flat iron really does the trick.It indeed does work wet or dry (I prefer dry, however).It heats up quickly and does what I need it to in just one pass.The plates are super smooth, and it never sticks to my hair.I love it!
