I use the Nokia LD-3W GPS Module with my Mobile Nokia E-61. Once a I've download de maps from de site of Nokia, it has begun to work fast.
For me, it is very usefull becouse I live in São Paulo, the biggest city os Soth America.

This product does not work with a HP iPAC 2495.User manual is sparse and customer support is useless.Might work OK with a Nokia phone, but I'd advise against trying it with anything else.

I got this for Christmas 2007 from my fiancee and it is just wonderful. It more than doubled the usage I get from my Nokia N800. No, there's no software, but I didn't need it with all of the open source options (gpsdrive, maemo mapper, etc.).

Rating:  - Outstanding device... without the recommended software.
Pros: A really outstanding device. Works better, in most cases, than my Garmen Vista C. When paired with Amaze GPS software (this software is free and works with most mobile phones) it works flawlessly. The battery life is superb.
Cons: The software that is/isn't included is a trial download (Wayfinder around $20 for the full version). After spending hours trying to download it, I gave up. Go for the free Amaze software.
