Search for the H5639 keyboards that we offer. DELL VOSTRO 1000 OWNERS. A few early models of the Vostro 1000 (not listed below) also use this keyboard, though most later ones use the JM629 or NK750. Compare the shapes of the two keyboards against your own, especially in the upper right area. NOTE: This keyboard is also a compatible replacement for any Dell laptop using the WG343 keyboard, making it a great customization option.

I bought this keyboard for my Dell Laptop Inspiron 6400. It works fine till now.

I replace this keyboard on a dell 640m ,the previous one had a bunch of keys dead. It Was easy to change and it has been working great since it feels whell made im satisfied with it. If you dont know how to dismantle a laptop you better look online for your dell service manual, its easy but it can be a little tricky.

Replaced my old keyboard in five minutes. Googled the instructions popped off the hinge cover,removed two screws, lifted the old keyboard out to reveal the ribbon connector. Opened the cam style socket and the disassembly was complete. Reversed the process and was up and running. A great replacement board for a great price (about $21 including shipping). Very fast delivery and a perfect fit! Highly recommended.
