I've used my ipod 5-6 times since I've had it.Got it last christmas (10 months ago).Anyway, after not using my ipod for about 4 months, i noticed a mouse chewed through the cord on the charger (the one that came with the ipod), so I ordered this one.

When I saw the price for this item, I was suspicious. I think that, usually, you get what you pay for. But this cheap little thing charges your Shuffle and allows you to do the usual things you do on iTunes. It looks chintzy but it does what you need and expect it to.
