This item works, but you can't use it too much or too hard or you could damage your muscles.This is something not explained in the catalog and I had to learn this from my physical therapist.I also don't think it's worth the money I paid for it, but if you are desperate like I was, you will try anything for pain relief.I would recommend a good message over this product.

The theracane has been great to work out those little muscle knots in the neck and shoulders that make you miserable.
Rating: - Getting rid of the hard to reach sore spots
I have problems with tight neck muscles and back muscles from working out with weights; I was spending a lots of money on massage therapy until my a physical therapist told me about the Theracane. It has been a life saver (and money saver). Now I can give myself a deep massage on my neck, shoulder and back muscles, then take a hot shower and I'm back in business. This was a great investment for me!!!

I most highly recommend this tremendous product. When you are trying to message away trigger point pain (knots) in hard to reach areas of your back, it is like having very long, totally mobile arms. It is well designed and made to last. I also highly recommend "The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook" by Clair and Amber Davies. I found out about the Thera Cane from that book. While giving you several different message tool options, the author's favorite one is the Thera Cane, which they most highly recommend. ... Read More

This product is terrific. I keep it by my chair and use it just about every night on the knots in my shoulders. It's so fantastic, I have bought it for others.
