Rating:  - Great until the lens jams.
I enjoyed this camera until the lens jammed. I tried all the techniques used by other people who had the same problem to no avail. If a tiny grain of sand gets stuck around the lens or if you drop it from a height of 4 inches this camera my not survive.

Just a few words-
The smaller the camera, the smaller the optical glass.The smaller the optical glass, the smaller the maximum camera aperture. The smaller the cameras maximum aperture, the inability to take excellent photos in lower light is lost.

This camera had a good rating for its quality and sturdyness.This was bought for a teenager who is hard on their electronics.This camera out performed my expectations, very nice photos, easy to use, small to fit in pocket, purse or backpack.Easy to take on vacation or just out with friends.This is our second Powershot/Digital Elph (bought one for our eldest son) and its a keeper.Thinking about buying another for ourselves when our old kodak quits.

What a great camera! Canon makes and intuitive, quality product that produces excellent results. The small size of cameras in this line means that you can take the camera anywhere you go without the annoyance of bulky equipment. I've been very happy with my purchase.
