Rating: - Good for the price. FM is not stereo as advertised.
You really cant beat the price.For $20 you get an expandable memory mp3 with FM and decent earphones.My first set did not come with earphones and Amazon promptly replaced.With even better phones the sound is very good, but not excellent.Not a big issue for my use (commuting in a vanpool).The minus star is for poor battery life (yet is is one battery!) and the mono FM (but reception for any portable like this is crappy so mono brings it in better without static).Really worth the price ... This is a nice pick for a low cost quality mp3 player.
I like the sd card addition(fits like a micro classic 8 track..lol)and the velvet smooth feel..
The user changable battery is a key for me..(Don't like expensive disposable players with built in batteries)..
Fm radio is clear..Clear overall sound..
Black Suade Smooth....

Rating: - Great low cost MP3 player
This is a great, low cost MP3 player that also doubles as a mass storage device.
The only problems I encountered were easily remidied. First of all, to prepare the player for usage, I had to go to the website and download the newest player file. However, the newest file did not work. I had to download an older file to actually activate the player.
Secondly, the USB slot on my desktop was too narrow for this player to connect to directly, adding the small expense of a USB extension.

I bought this as a cheap MP3 player to use while exercising. My Rio Karma was too bulky. Got this unit and a 2G memory card for less than $40 in a combo deal. This unit does everything so-so. The MP3 player is functional but has limited settings and options and the sound quality is average to below average. I also noticed that the head phone output only works well with the provided headphones. Using my other earbuds the volume was to low, even on the highest setting. Rough, cloudy times in the economy requires a low cost options.
Why pay hundreds dollars for a mp3 player ? This trekstor iBeat extension works well with my 8GB SDHC card and sounds good with provided sennheiser headphones.
I just recommend a couple of extra baterries when you go out and enjoy.
