I bought this for a gift and will give it next week, so don't know how well it holds up. I do like the look of the pot and if it works well for my daughter, I may buy one also.
Rating:  - Excellent Oven and Even Better With New Knob
As has been noted by several other reviewers, the dutch oven is great and performs on par with the high end LaCreuset varieties. Not only that, but the faded blue looks great in any kitchen.
The only weak link in this design is the previously mentioned plastic knob, which is susceptible to melting. However, this issue can be fixed by simply replacing the knob which unscrews easily. Rating: - Darn Good So Far
I've only used it three times. So far so good. Seems every bit as good as those expensive French pots. It's thick,heavy and cleans up well.
I used my consumer magazine recommended lead test kit on it. No lead detected.

I LOVE this pan!I have five children and cook often.Stews and soups..it is great.It is heavy..but isn't that what a dutch oven should be?I love the color.It washes up beautifully..no staining.A great alternative to the more expensive brands.I recommend it!

I have used this dutch oven for several different things.I absolutely love it.It cleans out great and it doesn't stick.I would recommend this product to anyone who loves to cook.It is a gorgeous looking pot also.I have had many compliments on the color.
