Good player. fact that you can't open the drawer with the remote is kind of annoying but the only reason you are going to open the drawer is to switch out the dvd in there with another one and for that you need to get up and go over there anyway so it is really a moot point. Bought this item at Best buy for $40 about a year ago. Bought it because it said "plays for sure" on the box. I play mostly dvd-r's so I wanted something that would play as many old, chewed up or discs burned on my computer. ... Read More

This is a great seller.The product arrived quickly and in great condition.The unit itself is a little loud when it loads movies and chapters, but it works great!I would buy from them again.

I've had no problems with this DVD player, it works well, commands are easy to follow. I think it's great value for the money, esp. compared to the Trutech player I had before. I have a Philips TV as well and have been happy with that too.
I've only tried playing "regular" DVD, not any of the others it supports.
