Bought this for my husband who works outdoors doing landscaping.The reception is good but it does fade sometimes when you are active.However, the one touch recording allows him to record hours and hours of programming over night and then there is no interruption.He loves it and Amazon is always the best price!!

Waited almost 3 years to buy this product. Was not sure if I wanted to commit to the satellite radio but now I'm so happy I did.Love the recording feature and having satellite radio at home and on the road.

Others have covered the pros and cons of this device pretty well. I just thought I would mention that I use it in my car with no external antenna and it works great, with very little to no loss of reception.I live in South Florida, which might have something to do with it....I'm not sure.
Be aware that if you put it in the docking station, the internal antenna cuts off, so you must use an external antenna with it docked.
