Like many others, my family first saw various songs from these two DVDs on PBS. Our local library has a VHS copy, and once we checked it out, it became apparent that my young son wanted these videos as a birthday present, which he received recently.
In the short time we have had both of these videos, we have watched them a lot. There is a lot of style variation between songs, which keeps the video interesting.

Rating: - amazing annimation
I first saw an animation on public broadcasting and was inspired to find out whether there were any CD's of animusic for sale.
Animusic #1 has more variety to the annimation than #2 but both CD's show what amazing imaginations these guys have. I am also a graphic artist so I can appreicate all the time and money that went into the making of this project.

Or is it artistic technology? Some of both, probably. Wayne Lytle and his team present great portfolio of music animations - the kind of thing you might get if Pixar animated Rube Goldberg doing Fantasia.
The short animations in these two discs cover a wide range of looks and sounds, from the classic visual and artistic styles of 'Resonant Chamber' or 'Aqua Music,' to the massive, brooding temple of 'Heavy Light,' to the science fiction look of 'Harmonic Voltage.'

Rating: - LOVE IT.
I also saw this on PBS.Loved it from the first day I saw it and will still love it for a very long time.I play it on my 50" plasma and it looks great.Kids love it (4 and 2) and parents love it too.
I put it on as background video/music, when friends over, but they all ask me to turn up the volume to hear it more.Makes sense with all those balls flying all over the place.
Love it, love it.Can't wait for more.

A truly unique combination of good music and outstanding computer animation.No real way to describe it; you have to see to believe.It's not like anything you have ever seen before and appeals to people of any age.I'm 73 and my grandson is 4; we both love it.
