This oval pasta pot is really great.I've always used the traditional vertical pasta pot with strainer insert.It would boil over and the pasta would have to be broken to fit.I highly recommend this one.

I love the shape of this pan and the easy clean-up. I've used it for everything that I cook from spaghetti sauce to pork chops.

I have to say, I really LOVE this pot.This pot is so much easier to use than my old standard pasta pot. Pot is easy to clean, but I don't recommended using it in the dishwasher as it seems to leave a funny haze to the pot. (could be my dish soap).

Have the 10pc set & wanted this larger size, so snapped it up when the price was reduced.Gr8 quality, luv the oval shape and the handy pour feature.Also bought the oval saute & pleased w/that too.ONE thing to note is that the coating on surface in bottom of pot feels 'rough' compare to the original pans...thought it was a defect but according to Anolon who makes these, it's NOT a defect...they're manufactured on different lines in the plant...just so you know!

The design of this pot is so ingenius I don't know why noone else has thought of this before Rachel. I hated my all-clad pasta pot because I hated my spaghetti or linguine half sticking out of the water when I placed it into the boiling water. Now, it all goes in submerged and I get to save a lot of water also. This is the best pasta pot on the market.
