Be careful, these are very sharp! The plastic cover is just what you need if you are packing for a picnic or going camping. The colors are pretty cool also.

This is an excellent paring knife, and I'm very pleased with it's cutting ability.It slices through everything quickly and easily, and the nonstick coating is fantastic.I love the blue color, it goes with other items I have in my kitchen.It comes with a sheath to protect the blade and your fingers when stored.Kuhn Rikon makes some great kitchen items, and this is definitely one of them.
Rating:  - Sharp, but not 100% non-stick
This has been one of the sharpest knives, short of my hunting knife, that I have used. One of the sharpest in my kitchen anyway. Its easy to use and clean, very sharp, and a handy size. It is not, however, totally non-stick. Things like garlic and seeds from various items will still cling to the blade. There is a handy sheath if you want drawer storage as well. In general, a very good knife.
