I purchased this 8 quart T-Fal stock pot for my canning needs.I use it for salsa, jelly, etc.I have only used it for this one season, so I do not know how it will hold up in the long run, but so far I am very satisfied with its performance.I do not agree with the 2 star rating as being lightweight.I think it is a respectably heavy pot, and I love the see-through vented glass lid and the silicone handles.

I purchased this product for a gift. The individual who received it has used it several times and is very satisfied. They prepare lots of soups, etc. and this stock pot is the ideal size for such endeavors.

French made T-Fal cookware impressed me so much that I'd buy nothing but T-Fal. What the F happened??!!Made in China, light metal, cheap construction??!!This has to be fake because it's nothing like the T-Fal set my sister bought in Greece that's still in excellent shape today after heavy usage. If you value quality cookware, this ain't it. Oh T-Fal, what have you done?
