I have been wearing gas-permeable contacts for more than 25 years, and have been using this product for at least 15 years. Imagine my surprise when I received two 3-pack packages that looked different than the one I am used to -- and no contact lens cases inside. The packages and bottles I received state that the product is only for soft contact lenses (the one I have used forever states it is for both soft contact lenses and rigid gas-permeable lenses).
