Well insulated, it keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for a long time. The twist close lid design keeps drinks from spilling, and it holds up well in the dishwasher. Being able to drink from any part of the mug is very convient while driving, although the liquid does come out a little slower than I'd prefer.

Two factors make this product not as good as advertised. First, it does not hold the heat. I put hot or even boiling water into it prior to use, up to as much as 45 minutes before use, then fill with the very hot beverage. A very short time later (less than a half hour) when I drink it, it's far cooler than it should be. Second, it has a lip inside the cup that makes it hard to empty its contents completely. Rating: - Basically, a good travel mug.
After researching countless reviews for a spill-proof mug to take to work, I purchased this one. Spills would be catastrophic for me, and when I accidentally knocked this one over, some liquid did escape but considering it was in the open position, it wasn't the flood I'd feared.
The mug does a decent job insulating my tea; I prep it for 5-10 minutes with hot water in the morning, but if I clock in at 8 by 10.30 it's warm, by 11.30 it's tepid. I do like the fact that it's stainless inside, ... Read More

This is a really great mug as long as it is maintained properly.The package that I received did not really list the maintenance required for the mug thus my wife put it in the dishwasher.The mug did not leak at all before going in now I can't get it to stop.Highly recommend hand washing or simply rinsing this mug out.Also the directions did not make it clear that there is a specific way to put the lid on.There are three knobs that extend from the lid.Two have a 45 degree slope while the ... This is by far the best travel mug around (and I've tried most out there). It does not leak and retains liquids hot or cold longer than any other mug (with the exception of those that plug into the lighter socket). It's a perfect size and is comfortable to hold. Will not tip over in the cup holder. In sum, highly recommended!
