This was a request from my daughter in law as part of her Christmas.
We christened it on Christmas day with a home made mushroom risotto...
worked perfectly and food tasted better and cooked better...I've had
cast iron fry pans in use a long, long, time and still use mine.

Rating: - Beat your boyfriend senseless
This pan is indestructible. Frying chicken, sauteeing mushrooms, cooking almost anything in this pan is a joy. It heats evenly and maintains the temp. It is heavy and a lot of women don't like cast iron for that reason. With the helper handle it is much easier. Just make sure you re-oil it after every use, and don't use harsh detergents on it. This is my favorite pan.
