I agree that this is the BEST toaster I've ever owned.It toasts evenly and really FAST (great for busy mornings!).My kids love it because they can use it at the same time but since it has different controls, one can use the light setting and the other the dark one. It functions and looks like a commercial toaster; I would not recommend it for a small kitchen, though. Overall, a great value!

I WAS DUPED INTO PURCHASING THIS TOASTER BY THE HIGH GOLD STAR RATINGS.IT HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT.I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS THAT SEVERAL OTHER COMMENTERS HAVE MENTIONED, I.E., SLOTS TOO SHORT; UNEVEN TOASTING, ETC.I, TOO, HAVE HAD TO TAKE THE BREAD OUT OF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TOASTER AND TURN IT OVER TO TRY AND GET A MORE EVEN PRODUCT.AS OTHERS STATED, THE HEATING ELEMENTS APPEAR NOT TO BE TURNING RED IN SUBSTANTIAL AREAS. Rating: - Well, it looks nice ...
... but I returned it.Every manufacturer of toasters specify how 'wide' the slots are for toasting bagels, muffins, etc.But, they rarely specify how 'long' the slots are.The first thing I tried was a slice of "Levy's Real Jewish Rye".It wouldn't fit lengthwise.Failing that basic test, I packed it up and sent it back without trying to toast anything.If I can't fit bread into it, it's simply not worth having.

I use my toaster mostly for English Muffins which are hard to remove from most toasters.When I saw that there was a lever on this toaster that would lift the item in the toaster for easy removal, I thought someone had heard my prayers (imagine, praying for the right toaster!) so I bought it.
It came as advertised and I suppose with regular toast it works OK.But I still have a problem getting my English Muffins out because the lever does not lift them high enough for easy removal. ... Read More
