This is the fourth or fifth version of this pan I've bought over the years. Like all non-stick finishes, they do have to be replaced periodically, but I use this pan pretty much every day. I think of it as my "desert-island" pot. If I only had one piece of cookware for the rest of my life, this would be the one. I had a T-Fal chicken fryer that finally had to be retired after 10+ years of use and I had a heck of a time finding a replacement -- then I stumbled upon this!It's perfect when you need a frying pan but the higher sides on this make it much more versatile.I can't be without it!
