While the pepper shaped "petites" are slightly larger than the fruit shapes, 13 ounces is very optimistic.If you fill it to the brim and then never let the table shake, it probably wouldn't spill, but that's the only way 13 is possible.

These four stoneware peppers match the Le Creuset pepper cast iron enameled pot. The four are useful for entertaining (hold dip, hot cheese, cooked items.) They also make a very nice gift for your favorite vegan or vegetarian. They hold 13 ounces, so are not large enough for a tureen for two, but can be used to serve side dishes on the table.
