This rival is my first fryer. And I love it !It keeps you away from the oil's splash and you can remove all the parts and wash them in the dishwasher. Easy to use and to clean!
I'll recommend this DF to anyone.
Rating:  - Rival deep fryer
We purchased this deep fryer two and half weeks ago. Without warning it stopped working! Piece of caca this is. I would avoid it. There are better deep fryers out there. Because I can't just leave the stars out of this, I'm giving it one star, although I would prefer to give it less than ZERO.
Rating: - crisp all the way
This deep fryer heats up fast. and holds it's heat well.So far all I fry came out nice and crisp. I have not tried chicken yet that will be the big test. my last rival I got for christmas lasted a month, hope this one last longer, by the way this is a up dated fryer from my other one to be all far.

Slider only goes to 375, i measured to oil temp and it is only going to 325.

This is a piece of junk. Within a month, the timer knob broke off. Within two months, the basket handle broke, so there is now no way to raise or lower the basket. Today, the temperature control slide knob broke in two! There is no way to fix these defects either. It is obvious that the plastic used is of poor quality, for it is the plastic that failed. Pieces simply snapped in two or connections failed. I don't use this for anything other than average home cooking either and then maybe once a week ... Read More
