I purchased this product (Andis 21420)and the product that was shipped to me is not the same as what's shown in the picture. Also, the description is different. I called Andis Headquarters and they confirmed that the image displayed on Amazon does not match the product number and the description is wrong as well. If you order this product you will be shipped the product displayed if you look up "B00063MRN4" on Amazon.com - it's a different color and the switch is even different on the clippers. Also, ... My dog is a thick-haired chow type dog but the clipper set worked well to cut her hair.The set comes in a sturdy box and the actual clipper has a nice weight to it.So far so good!

We used this clipper set to clip our 13-pound poodle/terrier mix. His coat is exactly like a poodle. We used the #10 blade without an attachment to shave his feet and face. It does not shave down to the skin but is about 1/16 inch. Then we put the 1/8-inch attachment on and did his whole body. He looks excellent. He was covered with tangles as he was a rescue dog. I bought these clippers because my poor Corgi looked so miserable in the summer heat.It was the first time I've ever used clippers before so he ended up looking rat bitten, but the clippers work wonderfully and cuts really well!I shaved his stomach area first in case the clippers got hot.After 1.5 hours of use I noticed it did get warm, but not hot.I had no problem with the attachments staying on and the clippers are quiet so the noise didn't bother him one bit (but he does likes the hair dryer). ...
